RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. %-x//O to accept the public improvements, authorize the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion, release bonds, and direct the Community Services Department to
commence maintaining the public improvements constructed at the northwest comer of the
intersection of Aviara Parkway and Ambrosia Lane.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The developer has constructed improvements required of this project and has requested the City to accept the public improvements. City forces have inspected the public improvements and found them to be satisfactory.
The public improvements constructed consist of the installation of street improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Community Services Department will be required to maintain the public improvements.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, AUTHORIZING THE
CITY CLERK TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION, RELEASE BONDS,
AND DIRECT THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO COMMENCE MAINTAINING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED AT THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF AVIARA PARKWAY AND AMBROSIA LANE.

WHEREAS, the public improvements consisting of the installation of street
improvements, in the City of Carlsbad, California has been successfully completed.
6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cartsbad,

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the above described public improvements are deemed
complete and hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to record the
Notice of Completion for said project and release the bonds in accordance with State Law and
City Ordinances.
4. That the Community Services Department of the City of Carlsbad, California, is
hereby directed to commence maintaining the above described public improvements for said
project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 3rd day of December , 1996 by the following vote, to wit:
