RECOMMENDED ACTION:
k a, That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to discuss employer-employee
u relations, salaries, salary schedules and compensation with designated staff as labor 2 negotiators with respect to the negotiations with the Carlsbad Firefighters Association
("CFA") and unrepresented employees. 5
