Accept the Staff Report regarding the status of the Carlsbad GIs.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
In June 1991, the Carlsbad Geographic Information System (CIS) began with the hire o
Coordinator and the purchase of GIS hardware and software. Since then, a dat
multiple layers of geographic data has been developed and geographic data services h
provided to many city departments in the form of custom map production and geogral
anal ys i s .
This presentation provides a report on the status of the CIS, a summary of the proc
services delivered to the GIs's customers in 1996, and the future goals and objectivs
CIS.
