RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of work in accordance with Contract No. CS96-2 as complei
requests direction to the City Clerk to have the Notice of Completion recorded and to relea:
bonds thirty five (35) days after recordation.
ITEM EXPLANATION
On August 13, 1996, the City Council awarded Contract No. 96-2 in the amount of $94,677
Roofing for the reroof of the Community Development facility. There was one change order
increased the contract amount by $720. The increase was made necessary by the need fo
inclusion of all walk pads around the mechanical equipment. These were inadvertently left (
contract. The actual construction took a total of 38 days from start to finish, is now completc
contractor’s work is acceptable to the Facilities Superintendent.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding for this project is appropriated in the Capital Improvement Program, Account Numl
3007000-0060-35441-000.
