RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 73- YO8 approving plans and specifications and authorizing
to advertise for bids for the construction of Poinsettia Lane and Batiquitos Drive 1
Project No. 3482.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Plans and specifications to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Poinseti
Batiquitos Drive have been completed. This signal meets the traffic signal warrc
included in the 1996-1997 CIP for construction. This project was developed in 2
Batiquitos Drive extension through the Aviara Community. That roadway was recen
and will be open to traffic in the next month.
Design of the traffic signal was performed by a consulting civil engineer selected by s
consultant selection process.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
This project is categorically exempt from the environmental review process under the
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and a Notice of Exemption has been

FISCAL IMPACT:
The Engineer’s Estimate for the construction of this project is $SO,OOO. This project j
