1 RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. ,9 7-Y 55 accepting the Traffic Signal at the intersectio
Parkway and Four Seasons Point, as complete and directing the City Clerk
Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law
Ordinances.
I ITEM EXPLANATION:
On November 12, 1996, Select Electric, Inc., was awarded a contract in the
$82,144 for construction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Aviara Parkw;
Seasons Point.
Select Electric, Inc., completed the work on March 26, 1997. City forces hav
said work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal acceptance
Council.
FISCAL IMPACT:

RESOLUTION NO. 97-455
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF
AVIARA PARKWAY AND FOUR SEASONS POINT,
PROJECT NO. 3501.
WHEREAS, the construction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Aviara
and Four Seasons Point has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Aviara Par1
Four Seasons Point, specifically identified as Project No. 3501, is deemed cor
hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed 1
the Notice of Completion and have same recorded.
4. That bonds will be released in accordance with State Law and City Ordina
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Car
Council held on the 2m day of April , 1997 by the following vote, to \n
