RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends acceptance of work in accordance with Contract No. 96-7 as c
requests direction to the City Clerk to have the Notice of Completion recorded and tc
bonds 35 days after recordation.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Contract No. 96-7 provided for the removal and replacement of crossgutters at the follow
0 Marron Road & El Camino Real
0 Cinema Way & Marron Road
0 Monroe & Park Drive
This contract was awarded to Castello, Inc. for $20,717. Subsequently a change order i
of $340 was processed to install rebar at the Monroe and Park location, at the request
Maintenance Supervisor. The work is now complete to the satisfaction of the Street
Supervisor.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding for this project was appropriated in the Street Maintenance account.
