I CITY A' FIR PARAMEDIC TRUST FUND CITY M DEPT. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No, 4 9 - 50 3 appropriate letter of thanks, and authorize the appropriation of $3,800 to a fire department expenditure account for the purchase of specialized advanced life-sup medical equipment. ITEM EXPLANATION: A donation in the amount of $3,800 has been received from the La Costa Resort Charitable Foundation to the paramedic trust fund as a demonstration of appreci for services provided by the fire department to the community. The La Costa Resort Charitable Foundation is administered through the San Dieg Community Foundation, The Foundation recognizes the importance of giving bi the community. San Diego Community Foundation grant funds are used for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes. FISCAL IMPACT Provides an additional $3,800 to the fire department buidget for the purchase of advanced life-support medical equipment. EXHIBITS: 1. 2. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsba California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct; and 2. That the City Councils accepts the gift of money for the paramedic trust fund; 3.
