ITEM EXPLANATION Judith Schwei and Joe Valenti moved out of Carlsbad, and have verbally notif their resignations from the Historic Preservation Commission. Both vacated tern April, 1998. Since the Municipal Code requires that the Commission be composed of memb specific qualifications, the new appointees must qualify and serve in the categor by Ms. Schwei and Mr. Valenti. One appointee should qual& as a "Member at large from the community with an local history".
