RECOMMENDED ACTION:

Adopt Resolution No. 9 9- 67 3 approving contract documents, special pro
and specifications; and authorizing the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the Elmwo
House ADA Improvements, Contract No. FAC98-2.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
In September 1996 the City entered into an agreement with Moon, Mayoras Arct
review our ADA (American with Disabilities Act) transition plan, and prepare cost i
estimates for the completion of the remaining ADA alterations identified in the t
plan. That work was completed and the agreement was subsequently amended
1997 requesting the architects to prepare detailed plans and specifications
designated ADA improvements. Moon, Mayoras has completed the plr
specifications for the Elmwood House facility (Cultural Arts Office) and the projec
ready for implementation. The estimated cost of these improvements is $33,000
plans are on file in the offices of the Public Works Department, Facilities Man; Division.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this project is appropriated in the Capital Improvement Program, ADA I - City Facilities, account number 3007000906013441 1900.
