RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 93 -&jY accepting the Traffic Signal at the inters
Poinsettia Lane and Batiquitos Drive, as complete and directing the City Clerk
a Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law
Ordinances. 1 ITEM EXPLANATION:
On June IO, 1997, Lekos Electric, Inc., was awarded a contract in the a
$92,000 for construction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Poinsettia I
Batiquitos Drive.
Lekos Electric, Inc., completed the work on October 15, 1997. City for(
inspected said work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommend
acceptance by the City Council.

RESOLUTION NO. 97-684
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF
POlNSElTlA LANE AND BATIQUITOS DRIVE, PROJECT
NO. 3482.
WHEREAS, the construction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Poinsel
and Batiquitos Drive has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Poinsettia I
Batiquitos Drive, specifically identified as Project No. 3482, is deemed complete a1
accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed t
the Notice of Completion and have same recorded.
4. That bonds will be released in accordance with State Law and City Ordina
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carl
Council held on the 18th day of November , 1997 by the following vote, to v\i
