RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution Nos. 97-477 and .0/3% 98 ( appoint
members to the Senior Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The term of Izma Chmiel expires in September, 1997. Ms.
was originally appointed to the Commission in June, 1991,
an unexpired term, and has served six years.
The term of James Whittaker expires in September, 1997
Whittaker was originally appointed to the Commission in C
1992, to fill an unexpired term, and has served five years
The appointees will serve four year terms, which will ex
September, 2001.
Other members currently serving on the Senior Commissil
Arthur Serrin, Mildred West, and Myra Zink.
NOTE: Members of the Senior Commission are subject
requirements of the Political Reform Act, and mu
