RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-434, amending Section 2.08.030 of the Carlsbad Municir
to adjust the compensation of the City Clerk.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Ordinance No. NS-434 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting
December 2, 1997. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the o

ORDINANCE NO. NS-434
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AMENDING SECTION
2.08.030 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO
ADJUST THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY CLERK
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does ordain as
SECTION I: That section 2.08.030 of the Carlsbad Municipal
amended to read as follows:
“2.08.030 Compensation of the City Clerk.
The compensation of the City Clerk is fixed at the sum of $700 pe
