RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 98-2 accepting the construction of the 1997 Pavl
Overlay and Concrete Repairs, Project No. 3527-0, as complete and directing th
Clerk to record a Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordanGe with Stat
and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On June 24, 1997, Sim J. Harris Company was awarded a contract in the amc
$690,350.45 for the construction of the 1997 Pavement Overlay and Concrete Rc
Project No. 3527-0.
Sim J. Harris Company completed the work on November 19, 1997. City forces
inspected said work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends 1
acceptance by the City Council.
