RECOMMENDED ACTION:
I Adopt Resolution No. q S: A 9 / approving contract documents, special provi
and specifications; and authorizing the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the Kruger I
ADA Improvements, Contract No. FAC98-3.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
In September 1996 the City entered into an agreement with Moon, Mayoras Archit
review our ADA (American with Disabilities Act) transition plan, and prepare cost ar
estimates for the completion of the remaining ADA alteradions identified in the tra
plan. That work was completed and the agreement was subsequently amended it
1997 requesting the architects to prepare detailed plans and specifications f
designated ADA improvements. Moon, Mayoras has completed plans and specificati
the Kruger House facility and the project is now ready for implementation. The w(
include installation of wheelchair ramps to the facility; renovation to the bathroc
estimated cost of these improvements is $42,000 including contingency funds. C
