We provide a hot, noon day lunch five days a week, transportation to the Center and for doctors appointments, health screenings, legal assistance,‘dances, classes, trips and much more. All of these activities are made possible through private donations, fundraising and funding from the City. All services and activities are provided at low cost or no cost to the Seniors who participate. We are presently experiencing a serious need for tables for our many activities. The tables presently utilized are in ill repair and not stable enough for use by Seniors. These tables are utilized almost daily for cards, crafts, art, etc. and unfortunately funds have not been budgeted for their replacement. We would need 35 tables at a total cost of approximately $1,750. Please be advised that as a part of a municipality, the Senior Center is a “qualified charitable organization” as per IRS Code Section 170(~)(2))~ attached. 3 ;c+c) IJ’~J~ ,Avenue - CartsDad.
