The time has come that due to the activities of my business, I must respectfully withdraw as a member of the commission. I have recently been accepted as the first National Agent for Farmers Insurance Croup, requiring much travel and time devoted to training people in various states while setting up my insurance program. The time commitment alone in this venture detracts from the value I can, in good conscience, devote to the City of Carlsbad. Please accept this request as my letter of resignation effective immediately.
