RECOMMENDED ACTION :
Adopt Resolution No. ?h c 3 3 0 , accepting donations totaling one thousand one
hundred fifty five dollars ($1 ,I 55) in support of the Kruger House Preschool Program.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
The following products and services were donated to Kruger House Preschool by the
Kruger House Benefit Committee for the school year of January 1, 1997 through June 5,
1998. A thank you letter from the Recreation Department has been sent to the Kruger
House Benefit Committee.

FISCAL IMPACT:
One thousand one hundred fifty five dollars ($1,155) in products and services were donated by
the Kruger House Benefit Committee to enhance the Kruger House Preschool Program. All
donations offset cost to the City in providing a quality preschool program.

RESOLUTION NO. 98-330
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
VALUING A TOTAL OF ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND
FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS ($1,155) IN SUPPORT OF THE KRUGER
HOUSE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has received donations of products and
services valuing a total of one thousand one hundred and fitty five dollars
($1,155) in support of the Kruger House Preschool Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the donations of products
and services totaling one thousand one hundred and fifty five dollars ($1,155) a
copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and
support of community members and organizations who donated to this program;
and
WHEREAS, the City council wishes to accept these contributions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the cash and support
materials totaling one thousand one hundred fifty five dollars ($1 ,I 55).

Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 13th day of October, 1998,
