ZC 97-01 RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Ordinance No. NS-450, amending Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code by ai amendment to the zoning map to grant a zone change, ZC 97-01, to change land us designations shown on the zoning map to be consistent with the general plan and local coasta program land use maps on various parcels located within the City of Carlsbad. ITEM EXPLANATION Ordinance No. NS-450 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting held o October 6, 1998. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the ordinance whic would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance publishe within fifteen days, if adopted. (Not withstanding the preceding, this ordinance shall not E effective within the City's Coastal Zone until approved by the California Coasti Commission.) SECTION II: That the findings of the Planning Commission as set Planning Commission Resolution No. 4250 constitutes the findings of the City Council. SECTION Ill: The Council further finds that this action is consistent Land Use Element of the Carlsbad General Plan.
