RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No. ?-IO? accepting the Traffic Signal at Aviara Parkway and Black Rail Road, Project No. 3369, as complete and directing the City Clerk to record a Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances. ITEM EXPLANATION: On June 23, 1998, HMS Construction was awarded a contract in the amount of $87,350 for construction of the traffic signal at Aviara Parkway and Black Rail Road. HMS Construction completed the work on March 1, 1999. City forces have inspected said work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal acceptance by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the construction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Aviara Parkway and Black Rail Road, specifically identified as Project No.3369, is deemed complete and hereby accepted. 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Notice of Completion and have same recorded. 4. That bonds will be released in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.
