ESTABLISHMENT OF ALL WAY STOP
AT INTERSECTION OF HIDDEN VALLEY
ROAD AND CAMINO DE LAS ONDAS
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-508, amending Title 10, Chapter 10.28, of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code, by the addition of Section 10.28560, to establish an All-Way Stop at the intersection of
Hidden Valley Road and Camino De Las Ondas.
ITEM EXPLANATION
Ordinance No. NS-508 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting held on
October 26, 1999. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the ordinance which
would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published
within fifteen days, if adopted.

ORDINANCE NO. NS-508
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE IO, CHAPTER
10.28 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
ADDITION OF SECTION 10.28.560 REQUIRING STOPS ON
CAMINO DE LAS ONDAS AT HIDDEN VALLEY ROAD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended
by the addition of Section 10.28560 to read as follows:
“10.28560 Hidden Vallev Road. Drivers shall stop where the
following described street intersects Hidden Valley Road:
Camino de las Ondas.”
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption
and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the
26th day of October , 1999, and thereafter,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 2nd day of November , 1999 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin
