RECOMMENDED ACTION :
Adopt Resolution No. a00 - 110 accepting a $545 donation to benefit the Carrillo Ranch
Trust.
ITEM EXPLANATION :
The volunteer curator for the Carrillo Ranch has collected a total of $545 to be donated to the
Carrillo Ranch Trust Account. The donations originated through the sale of crafts created by
Mrs. Kindle, the volunteer curator.
The individual donations which collectively total $545 were received by the Parks and Recreation
Commission during their January meeting. The Commission unanimously recommended that the
City Council accept this donation made to the Carrillo Ranch Trust.
FISCAL IMPACT:
A donation totaling $545 has been deposited into account #850 0000 2749, Carrillo Ranch Trust
Fund.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CIN COUNCIL OF THE GIN OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS TOTALING $545
TO BENEFIT THE CARRILLO RANCH TRUSTACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has established the
Carrillo Ranch Trust Account; and
WHEREAS, the Carrillo Ranch Volunteer curator has received individual donations
totaling $545 from the sale of craft items; and
WHEREAS, the proceeds from the sale of the craft items are to be donated to the
Carrillo Ranch Trust at the request of the craft creator, Mrs. Joan Kindle; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Council supports the contributions of donations to the
Carrillo Ranch Trust;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the donation of $545 and hereby authorizes the
deposition of funds into the Carrillo Ranch Trust Account. ,
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 11th day of ADril , 2000, by the following vote
to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila and Kulchin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Nygaard
