Adopt Ordinance No. NS-540 amending Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code by the addition of Section 10.28.570 requiring stops on Calle Barcelona at Paseo
Aliso.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Ordinance No. NS-540 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting held on
May 2, 2000. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the ordinance, which
would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published
within fifteen days, if adopted.
FISCAL IMPACT:
See Agenda Bill No. 15,718 on file with the City Clerk.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
10.28 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
ADDITION OF SECTION 10.28570 REQUIRING STOPS ON
CALLE BARCELONA AT PASEO ALISO.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended
by the addition of Section 10.28.570 to read as follows:
“10.28570 Paseo Aliso. Drivers shall stop where the following
described street intersects Paseo Aliso:
Calle Barcelona.”
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption
and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Cartsbad within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
