I RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to discuss the acquisition or
potential acquisition of real property located east of Interstate 5, north of Cannon Road and
south of Agua Hedionda Lagoon, more specifically known as:
Parcel 8 - APN 21 1-010-24 (49.84 acres)
Parcel 10 - APN 21 1-010-26 (371.65 acres)
Parcel 11 - APN 21 1-010-28 (19.99 acres)
Property Owner: San Diego Gas & Electric
Approx. 441.48 total acres
I move that the City Council hold a closed session pursuant to Government Code section
54956.8 to instruct its negotiators (Community Development Director Marty Orenyak, and
Planning Director Michael Holzmiller) regarding price, terms of payment or both.
