RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session pursuant to Government Code
section 54956.8 to instruct its negotiators (Administrative Services Director Jim Elliott and
Finance Director Lisa Hildabrand) regarding price, terms of payment or both for the acquisition
or potential acquisition of real property generally located and generally identified as:
Faraday Building
1635 Faraday Avenue
Carlsbad, CA 92008

Property Owner: Faraday Business Plaza, LLC
