RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive presentation from Mr. Al Deweese, Carlsbad’s Citizen Representative, on the
findings of the Caltrans District 11 Value Analysis study.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
In mid-September, the City Council appointed Mr. Al Deweese to serve as Carlsbad’s
citizen representative on Caltrans Value Analysis study for District 11. The purpose of that
study was to identify viable opportunities that would enhance the characteristics of the
corridor and that support the planning objectives of the cities.
The study was conducted throughout the month of October.
