in-kind services totaling thirty-seven thousand, three hundred seventy-nine dollars ($37,379) in
support of the lgti annual Carlsbad Triathlon and Seaside Celebration and recommend

businesses and organizations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost associated with the donated services and products offset the actual cost of providing
this special event. In order to maintain the caliber, integrity and notoriety that currently exists for
the Carlsbad Triathlon, the cost of providing the $26,077 of donated products, goods and
services is an expense which would otherwise be required of the General Fund. $11,302 in
cash donations has been deposited into the Recreation Triathlon Donations account #149-4502-
5651.
