CLK TRAFFIC SAFETY CQMMISSION APPOINTMENTS RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution Nos. &‘)0-34 3, &@d*&y, j#.JbK and %bbo -366 appointing four members to the Traffic Safety Commission. ITEM EXPLANATION: The term of Thomas Blake expires in July, 2000. Mr. Blake was originally appointed in August, 1990 and has served ten years. The term of James A. Courtney expires in July, 2000. Mr. Courtney was originally appointed in January, 1993 to fill an unexpired term and has served seven years. The term of Keith Gillfillan also expires in July, 2000. Mr. Gillfillan was originally appointed in October, 1996 and has served four years. John G. Allan has resigned from the Traffic Safety Commission, effective July, 2000. Mr. Allan’s vacated term expires in July, 2001. The other Traffic Safety Commission member is: Frank Whitton. NOTE: Members of the Traffic Safety Commission are subject to the requirements of the Political Reform Act, and must file a Statement of Economic Interest. EXHIBITS: 1.
