SENIOR COMMISSION APPOINTMENT
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2OOl-ld appointing one member to the Senior Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The term of Mildred West expires in September, 2000. Ms. West
was originally appointed to the Commission in September 1993, and has served seven years.
The appointee will serve a four year term, which will expire in September, 2004.
Other members currently serving on the Senior Commission are: Izma Chmiel, Arthur Serrin, George Weber and James Whittaker.
NOTE: Members of the Senior Commission are subject to the
requirements of the Political Reform Act, and must file
Statements of Economic Interests.

2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER
3 TO THE CARLSBAD SENIOR COMMISSION
4 WHEREAS, the term of Mildred West expires in September,
5 2000;
6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
7 City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
0 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve 9 as a member of the Carlsbad Senior Commission for a term to
10 expire in September, 2004.
