RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-568 amending Title IO, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code by the revision of Section 10.28.440 requiring stops for streets intersecting Plum Tree
Road.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Ordinance No. NS-568 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting held on
January 23, 2001. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the ordinance,
which would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance
published within fifteen days, if adopted.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
10.28 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
REVISION OF SECTION 10.28.440 REQUIRING STOPS FOR
STREETS INTERSECTING PLUM TREE ROAD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
6 SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended
7 by the revision of Section 10.28.440 to read as follows:

“10.28.440 Plum Tree Road. Drivers shall stop where the following described streets intersect Plum Tree Road:
Hidden Valley Road Red Knot Road Robinea Drive Bluebonnet Drive Windflower Drive Coneflower Drive.”
13 EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption
14 and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
,5 be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within
,6 fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the
