RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the staff presentation on the 2001-2002 City Goals.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Over the past several months, Staff has worked to develop organizational goals that meet
the City Councils Strategic Priorities. These goals were developed through numerous
workshops and are designed to provide clear direction with regards to the City’s focus.
For fiscal year 2001-02, there are more than 130 goals that the organization will focus on
that meet the 10 strategic priorities that Council set during their workshop, held in February
2001.
Staff will make a presentation outlining our proposed efforts.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Council’s approval of the 2001 -2002 operating and capital budgets provide the
necessary funding to accomplish the goals outlined by staff.
