California Coastal Commission 45 Fremont Street, #2000 San Francisco, California 94105-2219 RE: FINAL MAP FOR KELLY TRACT 97-16(A), KELLY RANCH CORE Dear Mr. Bowers: Thank you for discussing the Final Map for this project with me on Tuesday, December 18, 2001. Based on the update and progress that you and Attorney Neils have made on the documents and hearing that they are substantially complete, I advised the City Council to approve the Final Map, subject to the actual execution of the documents for approval by the City Engineer prior to sending the Final Map to the San Diego County Recorder for recordation. I understand that will be happening imminently. I certainly appreciate the effort and priority you have given this matter so the Council would be in a position to approve the Final Map. The Cannon Road associated with this project is an important and urgently needed link to the City’s overall transportation plan. Thanks again for your assistance. City Attorney afs c: Raymond R.
