That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session regarding pending litigation as
follows:
I move that the City Council hold a closed session to discuss Hatcher v.

Marcos Citv Council: Citv of Vista; Vista Citv Council; City of Encinitas;
Encinitas Citv Council: Citv of Carlsbad; Carlsbad Citv Council; Countv of
San Dieqo; San Dieqo County Board of Supervisors. et al, Case No.
GIC782067, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a).
