ITEM EXPLANATION: Frank Whitton was appointed to the Planning Commission on January 22, 2002, leaving a dacancy on the Traffic Safety Commission. Therefore, another member must be appointed :o fill the remainder of Mr. Whitton's term that expires in July, 2005. 3ther members on the Traffic Safety Commission are: James A. Courtney, Keith Gillfillan, Robert Mertz and Jerome Schall. NOTE: Members of the Traffic Safety Commission are subject to the requirements of the Political Reform Act, and must file a Statement of Economic Interest. EXHIBITS: 1.
