CITY ATTY. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to discuss employer-employee
relations, salaries, salary schedules and compensation in the form of fringe benefits with
designated staff as labor negotiators (Frank Mannen, Assistant City Manager, Jim Elliott,
Administrative Services Director, Julie Clark, Human Resources Director, Jim Hawks,
Police Chief, Debbie Porter, Management Analyst, and Dan Casssidy, Esq.), regarding
employees represented by CPOA and CPMA. If circumstances necessitate the absence of a
specified designated representative, an agent or designee may participate in place of the
absent representative so long as the name of the agent or designee is announced at an
open session held prior to the closed session.
I move that the City Council hold a closed session to discuss
employer-employee relations and negotiations pursuant to
Government Code Section 54957.6.
