Letter to Ray Patchett, City Manager, from Lisa Cannon-Rodman, dated June 4, 3535 Simsbury Court Carlsbad, CA. 92008 June 2,2002 Ray Patchett 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive Carlsbad, CA. 92008 Dear Ray Patchett, I am writing on behalf of the citizens of Carlsbad who are interested in having a 3- pool complex built in Carlsbad. We need to build this facility to ease the overburdened Monroe Complex that is unable to service the ever-growing population of aquatic users in our fine community. I have been researching the cost of maintenance with other municipal pools and how they offset these costs. Per our brief phone conversation could you please include an agenda item on the June 18* City Council Meeting so I may give a presentation on the above-mentioned topic? If possible can I further request being in the beginning of the agenda, which will help greatly in the planning process. Thank you for your consideration in this matter and please feel fiee to call me if you have any questions. Lisa Cannon- Rodman
