ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. NS-632 and DEPT. HD. ,$f
AT THREE LOCATIONS INTERSECTING
DEPT. CLK CITY MGR TAMARACK AVENUE
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-632, amending Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code to require stops at three locations on Tamarack Avenue; and,
Adopt Ordinance No. NS-633, amending Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code by the revision of Section 10.28.090 requiring stops for streets intersecting Tamarack
Avenue.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Ordinance No. NS-632 and Ordinance No. NS-633 were introduced and first read at the
City Council meeting held on June 25, 2002. The second reading allows the City Council to
adopt the ordinance, which would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will
have the ordinance published within fifteen days, if adopted.

ORDINANCE NO. NS-632
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
STOPS AT THREE LOCATIONS ON TAMARACK AVENUE.
10.28 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad. California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by
le addition of Section 10.28.630 to read as follows:
"10.28.630 Levee Drive. Drivers shall stop where the following
described street intersects Levee Drive:
Tamarack Avenue."
SECTION 2: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by
le addition of Section 10.28.640 to read as follows:
"10.28.640 Knollwood Drive. Drivers shall stop where the
following described street intersects Knollwood Drive:
Tamarack Avenue."
SECTION 3: That Title 10, Chapter 10.28 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by
le addition of Section 10.28.650 to read as follows:
"10.28.650 Strata Drive (east). Drivers shall stop where the
following described street intersects Strata Drive (east):
Tamarack Avenue."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its a1 cloption an d
le City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be
ublished at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within fifteen
15) days after its adoption.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 9th day of JULY , 2002 by the following vote, to wit:

Levee Drive
