RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session regarding pending litigation as
follows:
I move that the City Council hold a closed session since a point has
been reached where, in the opinion of the City Council based on the
legal advice of its City Attorney and based on the existing facts and
circumstances, there is significant exposure to litigation against the
City by Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, the San Diego Tax
Fighters Association, and the Gann Taxpayer Organization, pursuant
to Government Code Section 54956.9(b).
