TEM EXPLANATION: ioy Latas has resigned from the Housing Commission and his term expires July, 2003. Mr. Latas ierved in the category of Rental Assistance - General. The other four members of the Housing Commission and their categories are: Charles Griffin (Rental 4ssistance - Senior), Doris Ritchie (Member-at-Large), Ed Scarpelli (Member-at-Large), and Renee 3uston (Member-at-Large). VOTE: Members of the Housing Commission are subjeet to the Political Reform Act and 1 must file Statements of Economic Interests. EXHIBITS: 1. Letter of Resignation from Roy Latas. 2. I consider my work on the Housing Commission as a source of civic and personal pride. Carlsbad’s Inclusionary Housing Ordinance is creating housing that serves the needs of our residents and our business, so please feel free to ask me “lobby” any person or institution about the merits of our ordinance.
