RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2002-312 accepting the Rancho Santa Fe Road Realignment
and Widening Phase I Clearing, Project No. 3190, as complete, and directing the City
Clerk to record a Notice of Completion and release bonds in accordance with State Law
and City Ordinances.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Erreca’s Inc. completed the clearing work on May 31, 2002. City staff has inspected the
work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal acceptance of the clearing
improvements by the City Council.

RESOLUTION NO. 2002-312
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE RANCHO SANTA
FE ROAD REALIGNMENT AND WIDENING PHASE 1 CLEARING,
PROJECT NO. 3190.
WHEREAS, the construction of the Rancho Santa Fe Road Realignment and Widening
'base 1 Clearing has been completed to the City's satisfaction by Erreca's Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
Zalifornia, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Rancho Santa Fe Road Realignment and Widening Phase 1 Clearing,
jpecifically identified as Project No. 31 90 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
and record the Notice of Completion for Project No. 3190.
4. That the City Clerk is directed to release all bonds on Project No. 3190 in accordance
with State Law and City Ordinances.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
