RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2003-003 approving the final map for CT 00-02, Calavera Hills
Phase 11, and authorizing the City Clerk to process the map for recordation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of CT 00-02, known as Calavera Hills
Phase II. This subdivision is within Local Facilities Management Plan (LFMP) Zone 7 and is
generally located at the intersection of Carlsbad Village Drive and College Boulevard. The project
proposes a total of six lots. No dwelling units are proposed within any of the six lots. Village-level
maps will be processed in accordance with the approved master plan amendment MP 150(H).
The final map conforms substantially with the tentative map as approved by Planning Commission
on January 2, 2002, per PC Resolution No. 5117, and by City Council on January 15, 2002, per
City Council Resolution No. 2002-016. The final map also conforms to the General Plan,
all the applicable requirements of the Municipal Code, City Standards, and Growth Management
Plan. The applicant, Calavera Hills 11, LLC, is requesting the recordation of said final map.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer pays a plancheck fee to cover the expense of planchecking and processing the final
map for recording. There is no fiscal impact to the City. All appropriate fees will be paid if and when
building permits are issued for this project.

RESOLUTION NO. 2003-003
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR
CITY CLERK TO PROCESS THE FINAL MAP FOR
RECORDATION.
CT 00-02, CALAVERA HILLS PHASE II, AND AUTHORIZING THE
WHEREAS, Calavera Hills II, LLC, has submitted a final map known as CT 00-02,
:alavera Hills Phase 11, to the City of Carlsbad for approval; and
WHEREAS, the tentative map of CT 00-02 with conditions, was approved by Planning
:ommission on January 2,2002, per PC Resolution No. 51 17; and
WHEREAS, the tentative map of CT 00-02 with conditions, was approved by City Council
n January 15,2002, per City Council Resolution No. 2002-01 6; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that said map substantially conforms to
id conditionally approved tentative map; and
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for said final map have been completed or
?cured; and
WHEREAS, the developer has offered public easements for dedication to the City of
arlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the final map conforms to the City of Carlsbad General Plan and all
!quirements of City Codes and Standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
alifornia, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That said final map known as CT 00-02, Calavera Hills Phase It, which is on file
th the City Engineer and is incorporated herein by reference, is accepted.
3. That the City accepts the dedications shown on the final map.
4. That the City Clerk is authorized to sign the Certificate of Acceptance on the
la1 map.
5. That the City Clerk is authorized to cause the original final map to be recorded in
e Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of California,

1 6. That the City Clerk is authorized to release the final map to First American Title
Insurance Company for recording in the Office of the County Recorder.
