That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session regarding existing litigation as
follows:
I move that the City Council hold a closed session to discuss existing
litigation regarding Citv of Carlsbad v. North American Mortqas
Company, Case No. GIN021984 and Laurent v. City, Case No. 00 CV
1743 L (CGA), and, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a).
