JEFFERSON STREET CANARY ISLAND PALMS
The Public Works Supervisor in the Parks Department is currently going through
the contract process to get a contractor on board to remove the Canary Island
Palms. The trees have been certified diseased by a certified arborist and this
documentation is in both the Capitol Improvement Program file and the Planning
Department Coastal Development Permit file. A Parks Department crew has
posted that the trees will be removed.
