Adopt Resolution No. 2004- 240 appointing one member to the Senior Commission.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Arthur G. Wood has resigned from the Senior Commission, effective January 1, 2004. Mr.
Wood’s term expires in September 2005.
Other members of the Senior Commission are: Mike O’Connell, David Ricker, Peggy
Savary, and Mildred West.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER
TO THE SENIOR COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Arthur G. Wood has resigned from the Senior Commission effective
January 1,2004;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

That the following person is hereby appointed to serve as a member of the
Senior Commission to fill an unexpired term until September, 2005:

taking several classes there. Served two years on the San Diego
11 County Grand Jury. I mentioned the anniversary above, as my
husband and I were married in 1952 at Camp Pendleton. We have
lived in Carlsbad since 1966 and I love the citv. Wh en I was
at Pendleton in 1951, I visited Carlsbad and thought it was quai' I did not know then 1 W~iild he living hprp nnw
I served my country, my community and my county.

I walk along our beautiful Carlsbad Boulevard several mornings
each week at 0600. A qreat way to qreet the day.
