On June 1, 2004, Don Hubbard Contracting was awarded a contract in the amount of $85,322 for
the construction of the Palomar Airport 12-inch Water Pipeline, Project No. 3479.
Don Hubbard Contracting completed the waterline improvement work on October 14, 2004. City
staff has inspected the work and found it to be satisfactory. Staff recommends formal acceptance of
the improvements by the City Council.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT NO. 3479.
OF THE PALOMAR AIRPORT 12-INCH WATER PIPELINE,
WHEREAS, the construction of the Palomar Airport 12-inch Water Pipeline has been
Zompleted to the City’s satisfaction by Don Hubbard Contracting on October 14, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
Zalifornia, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the construction of the Palomar Airport 12-inch Water Pipeline, specifically
dentified as Project No. 3479 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
and record the Notice of Completion for the construction of the Palomar Airport 12-inch Water
Pipeline, Project No. 3479.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 1st day of MARCH , 2005 by the following vote, to wit:

WHEREAS, the construction of the Palomar Airport 12-inch Water Pipeline has been completed to
he Carlsbad Municipal Water District’s satisfaction by Don Hubbard Contracting on October 14, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
