RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2005-171
Neighborhood 1.06, and authorizing the City Clerk to process the map for recordation.
approving the final map for CT 04-16, La Costa Greens
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of CT 04-16, known as La Costa Greens
Neighborhood 1.06. This subdivision is within Local Facilities Management Plan (LFMP) 10 and is
generally located adjacent to and east of Alicante Road. The project proposes a total of 98 lots.
The lots are comprised of 91 single-family residential lots, 6 open space lots, and one recreation lot.
The final map conforms substantially with the tentative map as approved by Planning Commission
on February 16, 2005 per PC Resolution No. 5840. The final map also conforms to the General
Plan, all the applicable requirements of the Municipal Code, City Standards, and Growth
Management Plan. The applicant, Morrow Development, is requesting the recordation of said final
map.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
The approval of a final subdivision map is a ministerial project and is exempt from the requirements
of CEQA pursuant to Section 15268 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer pays a plancheck fee to cover the expense of planchecking and processing the final
map for recording. All appropriate fees will be paid if and when building permits are issued for this
project.

RESOLUTION NO. 2005-171
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PROCESS THE FINAL MAP
FOR RECORDATION.
CT 04-16, LA COSTA GREENS NEIGHBORHOOD 1.06, AND
WHEREAS, Morrow Development has submitted a final map known as CT 04-16,
La Costa Greens Neighborhood 1.06, to the City of Carlsbad for approval; and
WHEREAS, the tentative map of CT 04-16 with conditions, was approved by Planning
Commission on February 16, 2005 per PC Resolution No. 5840; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that said map substantially conforms to
said conditionally approved tentative map; and
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for said final map have been completed or
secured; and
WHEREAS, the developer has offered public easements for dedication to the City of
Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the final map conforms to the City of Carlsbad General Plan and all
requirements of City Codes and Standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That said final map known as CT 04-16, La Costa Greens Neighborhood 1.06,
which is on file with the City Engineer and is incorporated herein by reference, is accepted.
That the City accepts the dedications shown on the final map.
That the City Clerk is authorized to sign the Certificate of Acceptance on the

5. That the City Clerk is authorized to cause the original final map to be recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of California.'

6. That the City Clerk is authorized to release the final map to Chicago Title Company
for recording in the Office of the County Recorder.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 7th day of June , 2005 by the following vote, to wit:
