Lewis, Mayor City of Carlsbad 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive Carlsbad, California 92008 Dear Mayor Lewis: It is with deep regret that I am resigning as a Trustee of the Library Board because my husband and I are moving to Tucson, Arizona at the end of September. My term of office will expire on June 2008. I have greatly enjoyed my six years on the Board and I deeply appreciated being given the honor to serve the City and the Library. I am very proud of Carlsbad's wonderful Library and all of the people who are dedicated to making it the very best. I enjoyed having the opportunity of working with Dr. Cliff Lange and am thrilled that the City Manager chose Heather Pizzuto as the new Library Director. The Library Board is composed of very fine and dedicated people and I have no doubt that my replacement will continue that tradition. Thank you for the opportunity to serve the City of Carlsbad and the Library.
