CITY MGR I CO 01o n)C•H 13 1301•UD.O13tfl O §O o <r o- g o _j o oo RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Ordinance No. NS-795 amending Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code by the addition of Section 10.44.750 to establish upon Glasgow Drive a prima facie 30 mile per hour speed limit from Edinburgh Drive to its intersection with Carlsbad Village Drive. ITEM EXPLANATION: Ordinance No. NS-795 was introduced and first read at the City Council meeting held on March 28, 2006. The second reading allows the City Council to adopt the ordinance, which would then become effective in thirty days. The City Clerk will have the ordinance published within fifteen days, if adopted. NS-795 DRIVE TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH CARLSBAD VILLAGE DRIVE. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows: SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the addition of Section 1 0.44.750 to read as follows: "10.44.750 Glasgow Drive. Upon Glasgow Drive from Edinburgh Drive to its intersection with Carlsbad Village Drive, the prima facie speed limit shall be thirty miles per hour."
