RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution No. 2006-201 approving the final map for CT 04-01, Yamamoto Subdivision,
and authorizing the City Clerk to process the map for recordation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of CT 04-01, known as Yamamoto
Subdivision. This subdivision is within Local Facilities Management Plan (LFMP) 20, and is generally
located at the southeast corner of Blackrail Road and Songbird Avenue. The project proposes a total
of 16 residential lots.
The final map conforms substantially with the tentative map as approved by Planning Commission on
February 10, 2005, per PC Resolution No. 5831. The final map also conforms to the General Plan,
all the applicable requirements of the Municipal Code, City Standards, and Growth Management Plan.
The applicant, Blackrail, LLC, is requesting the recordation of said final map.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
The approval of a final subdivision map is a ministerial project and is exempt from the requirements of
CEQA pursuant to Section 15268 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The developer pays a plancheck fee to cover the expense of planchecking and processing the final
map for recording. All appropriate fees will be paid if and when building permits are issued for this
project.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL MAP FOR
CT 04-01, YAMAMOTO SUBDIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE
4 CITY CLERK TO PROCESS THE FINAL MAP FOR RECORDATION.
5 WHEREAS, Blackrail, LLC has submitted a final map known as CT 04-01, Yamamoto
6 Subdivision, to the City of Carlsbad for approval; and
7 WHEREAS, the tentative map of CT 04-01 with conditions, was approved by Planning
g Commission on February 2, 2005 per PC Resolution No. 5831; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that said map substantially conforms toy
said conditionally approved tentative map; and10
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for said final map have been completed or
11
secured; and
12 WHEREAS, the developer has offered public easements for dedication to the City of
13 Carlsbad; and
14 WHEREAS, the final map conforms to the City of Carlsbad General Plan and all
15 requirements of City Codes and Standards; and
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
17 California, as follows:
^ g 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That said final map known as CT 04-01, Yamamoto Subdivision, which is on fileiy
with the City Engineer and is incorporated herein by reference, is accepted.
3. That the City accepts the dedications shown on the final map.

4. That the City Clerk is authorized to sign the Certificate of Acceptance on the
22 final map.
23 5. That the City Clerk is authorized to cause the original final map to be recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, State of California.
25 6. That the City Clerk is authorized to release the final map to Chicago Title
26 Insurance Company for recording in the Office of the County Recorder.
