RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution Nos. 2006- 2006-228 and 2006-229 appointing two
members to the Carlsbad Community Television Foundation.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
The term of Michael Pfankuch expired in January, 2005. Mr. Pfankuch did not wish to be
reappointed to serve on the Foundation. Therefore, one appointment is needed to fill the
vacant term that expires in January, 2009.
In addition, Theresa Childs has resigned from the Carlsbad Community Television
Foundation. The vacated term expires in January, 2009.
Other members of the Carlsbad Community Television Foundation are: Bob Bender, Harv
Kauffman, and Elisa Williamson.

As my term has expired, I would like to apply for different commission. I would like to be on the Parks &
Rec. if they would like. I have enjoyed serving on the CCTV for the past few years and wish them success
in the future.

called back to Active Duty. My work schedule and the meeting times are in conflict. I
regret that I will not be able to continue serving on the Foundation. I look forward to
serving on this or another committee when my period of service ends.
